Ground Segment
Aeronautics systems may be delivered with 2 different kinds of ground stations (PGCS/Sheltered) & with 2 different kinds of ground data-link terminals (MR/LR) for 50 and 120 km range. In addition, a remote video terminal may be delivered as an add-on.
DATA LINKS
delivered either with a Medium Range (50km) or a long range Datalink (120km), both may be connected to the same type of Personal Ground Control Station (3.9.2).
Short Range
Medium range antenna (MR) for 50 KM
Long Range
Long range antenna (LR) for 120 KM
Ground Stations
Aeronautics’ Systems may be delivered either with either a portable ground control station (PGCS), Or a MILSTD shelterized ground control station (GCS)
Portable Ground Control station (PGCS)
The Operator’s ruggedized personal ground control station (PGCS) incorporates:
i. Flight and mission operation software
ii. Video tracker software (for example by RAFAEL or any other equivalent)
iii. Payload/Sensor Data / Information
Shelter-Based GCS Configuration
The shelterized Ground Control Station is an advanced modular, MILSTD UAS control station. The GCS can control a few simultaneous UAS operations and missions

Remote Video Terminal (RVT)
The Remote Video Terminal (RVT) provides real-time video with digital map and telemetry. The RVT is a compact lightweight, portable station that enables ground forces located at a remote location to receive high quality video images from the UAV, and to control the payload. The RVT deployment kit also includes a tactical radio handset to support communications with the GCS.
